Lantern Tide

Lantern Tide is a slow, lovely adventure. You guide a little paper boat between islands, lighting lanterns and nudging simple environmental puzzles to open the next route. There's no timer and no fail state that really stings, so it's the game I reach for when I want to unwind.

The art and the ambient sound do a lot of the heavy lifting. Rain on the water, wind through the sails, a soft chime when a lantern catches. It's atmospheric in a way that most mobile games don't bother with.

The puzzles are gentle, so puzzle veterans might find them light. But for a relaxing wind-down session it's close to perfect, and it never nags you to come back with notifications.
